The Third Eye

The Third Eye is an animated short film about a scholar with an insatiable hunger for information. Frustrated by not understanding a book he craves he tries out a drastic shortcut to knowledge with some dire consequences. The story deals with the hubris of getting too much information with the wrong means. The design was inspired by black and white silent cinema as well as golden era Hollywood cartoons. The film is part of my Master of Arts thesis at the Media Lab, Aalto University School of Art and Design.
